Officially off of nursing orientation....

...and I cannot believe it! Time has flown by. I have been taking a team of patients on my own all week so that is going to be a nice transition into next week but still... it's a little scary! It's comforting to know that I have people there to help anytime. I still love my job every day. Yesterday I had a patient that I've had basically her whole stay. Her day shift nurse hadn't brought her her pain medications and the patient called and asked for them. She said "I thought to myself 'Amanda would never forget them... I wish she was here'" How incredibly sweet and a wonderful feeling my patients trust me. I can only pray it continues to be such a wonderful job. :-) I have no doubts.
