Hello Week 7! Well, on Saturday anyway. I ran today which is not my usual schedule. Tomorrow we're supposed to get over 2 inches of rain so I decided to run tonight rather than risk it tomorrow. I don't have a gym membership or anything so I can't go run there and running inside is so boring to me. I don't know what I'm going to do once it starts snowing. Invest in some running boots maybe? :-P Today it was a straight 25 minutes of running and I think I did really well. I walked for a total of 1 minute... a few seconds here and there. I liked not having to really pay much attention to my watch and just ran. I did get a little tired around the second mile but ran about 2.3 miles in 25 minutes. It's not awesome but it's not too shabby for someone who could barely run down the street 6 weeks ago. It has been the fastest 6 weeks though. I can't believe how fast time is flying and that it is October tomorrow. I think I might see if I can get an appt for a chiropractor. My hip is really becoming a pain... no pun intended. I really feel like if I could just crack it, it'd feel 100% better. Probably easier said than done though. I'd like to come out of there not being paralyzed. I think on Saturday I'm going to map out 2.5 miles and go by the distance rather than the time. That way I won't have to pay attention at all to the watch (and maybe I'll even leave it at home..... uhhh maybe not... I like seeing that I only have 5 more minutes to go. :-P ). Jane wanted to run with me tomorrow morning at 7am. Yes, 7AM!! I told her I'd think about it and give her a call today and let her know because 7am is crazy. LOL That means I'd have to leave about 6:45am to get to her house. Pfft. Because I saw it's going to rain, I called and told her I was running tonight and she left me a message saying she doesn't think she'll have enough time to run in the morning so maybe another time. Whew! I don't think people understand how slow I really am. LOL Just ask Corey!
The 2 girls at my Micro lab have really been irritating me. It's not me their being shitty to but rather to the other girl that sits at our table. The other girl doesn't even know they're being bitchy to her. I feel so bad for her. Some people need a little more time spent on things to fully understand what's going on and Microbiology is NOT easy. I wish the one girl who always rolls her eyes at her would just stfu. It's not nice at all. :-(
