I know this is just a silly excuse but I have been so crazy these past few weeks I haven't had the time to go to the gym. That's just ONE of the downsides of it being so cold that I have to go to the gym. Had it been warmer out, I could have grabbed my running shoes and headed out rather than get ready to go to the gym, drive to the gym, work out, drive home etc. I am actually really excited to get back because I feel so fat lately. I was just starting to feel ok about myself too.
I've been searching for a dress for the holiday party for work. I really REALLY wish my arms were in better shape.... and I swear next year at this party, I WILL have them in shape to wear cute strapless dresses. I keep finding adorable dresses but they have shorter sleeves or no sleeves at all and I'd feel super self conscious about it. :-( It sucks!! I just want a dress that isn't going to make me look matronly. I may think like a 40 yr old, according to Facebook lol, but I am 23. So I'm making a goal to focus on my big fat grandma arms.
Super excited to have coffee with Jane this week... she called me last week after receiving their edible arrangement for Christmas (I felt bad it was so late but they were constantly on the go so if I had sent it for actual Christmas, who knows if they would have even received it) and we talked for almost an hour. It was so nice. I saw Aidan in church today and as I was walking up to receive Communion, he turned from his seat and waved at me. It was so cute (I know, a child waving is really not that cute but he was so shady about it like 'I can't do much because we're in church but wanted to say hi!' kind of thing). I miss that little snugglebug. It'll be nice to sit and chat with Jane to catch up. I enjoyed and looked forward to our talks every time I'd go to babysit.
My dad finally fixed the cable... I'm not sure what was wrong with it but I wasn't getting any channels at all so at night if I wanted to watch TV, had to fall to my Friends DVDs. Which honestly, was just fine. I forgot how much I love that show and how hilarious it is. No matter what kind of mood I am in, it ALWAYS makes me feel better. I need to remember that when I need a laugh.
